Every source and output pair has a dedicated URL, accepted extension filter, technical guide, and upload queue.
The source format controls what you can upload.
When you choose PNG as the source, the file input accepts only .png files. Choosing JPG changes the accepted input to .jpg and .jpeg. The server then verifies the real MIME signature before staging the file.
The converter decodes the image into pixels and sends those pixels to the selected output encoder. Quality settings affect lossy formats such as JPG, WEBP, and AVIF. Transparency is preserved only when the selected output format supports an alpha channel.
Each file uploads separately, which allows a progress bar to appear directly on that file item. Outputs are saved in private random directories and remain downloadable through an expiring token for up to 30 minutes.
